Trailblazing artist collective Tangram is creating a new work for the brilliantly gifted SANSARA choir. Composers Alex Ho and Rockey Sun Keting will collaborate with the renowned author Yilin Wang in a fascinating choral theatre piece, based on the words of Chinese female poets across 1000 years of history. Chronicle explores the importance of translation – of ideas, language, and emotion – as a vital part of connection and cultural communication in our world.
Co-commissioned by SANSARA and the Netherlands Chamber Choir with support from PRS Foundation, Leche Trust, Radcliffe Trust, Cockayne Foundation and Vaughan Williams Foundation.
