II Contemporary Festival 2022 of the International Music Festival of the Canary Islands

30 September-16 October 2022 The Government of the Canary Islands continues its commitment to contemporary academic music and launches a new edition of the Contemporary Festival which, linked to the Canary Islands Music Festival, will take place in Gran Canaria and Tenerife from September 30 to October 16. This second edition will feature the 'Hollywood' LucasVidal, as well as the Ensemble of the Royal Academy and other outstanding national and local ensembles. Master classes will also be organized with several of the guest musicians and for the first time a meeting of Canarian composers will be held, bringing together many of those who have managed to make a name for themselves outside the islands.
