"The power of the unconscious plays a profound and mysterious role in my choreography – especially in the early days of my transition from dancer to choreographer. During that time, I frequently dreamed of vivid movements and stage images. In those dreams, I would think, 'If only this were my work'. Upon waking, I’d realise they were born from my own mind, and I began trying to remember and incorporate fragments into my creations. Eventually, my unconscious began to whisper: 'Remember them'. I learned to listen – to catch the fleeting inspiration that dreams offer. The power of the unconscious is not only my source, but also my refuge – a silent force shaping the soul of my work."
